The Civilian Marksmanship Program, formerly known as Director of Civilian Marksmanship (DCM) is for boys and girls ages 12 to 18. It is open to the public. Its purpose is to teach firearm safety, the care and maintenance of firearms, marksmanship and sportsmanship under the close supervision of instructors. The CMP and Coxsackie Sportsmen’s Club provide the rifles, ammunition and all other necessary equipment free of charge as a service to the community.
The team meets Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM during the school year. No experience is required to join the program and new students are welcome anytime during the season.
